Hunter's Puddings on Border Television's Calendar programme

Local news correspondent, Gillian Fraser, took up the challenge of a week-long gluten-free diet including our Gluten-free Sticky Toffee and Chocolate Fudge puddings!

Reporting back to her Border TV 'Calendar' colleagues on 16th November 2007 she said that although she had no known intolerance of gluten she felt much better in herself after the week long diet and promised to keep it going.

The challenge was laid down by Jean Foster of West Cumbria Coeliacs who was delighted that Gillian had the courage to take it on! Jean campaigns tirelessly for increased awareness of the Coeliac condition and organises our local Coeliac Society Food Fair each November in Penrith.
